Axtell, axtel
Indiana
unknown
I am searching for any information on my Grandfather, Frank
Axtell, my father (his son) and his siblings are deceased. All I know is
that my Grandfather Frank was orphaned in Indiana. His date of birth is
believed to be August 15, 1886 and his death August 27, 1947. I was told
he had been in the Navy during WW1. I have contacted the Indiana
courthouse and they haven't any records dating back to this time.
Apparently they had been misplaced or destroyed. I had also been told
that it was a possibility that he was 1/2 cherokee but again I am unable
to verify this. If anyone has any information on Frank Axtell or any
ideas as to how to find information on him please contact me. Thank you
for your interest and help. Patsy Hensley,

I have been told that there were homes for veteran's children
orphaned after the civil war. I have found information about ten of
them. Does anyone know anything about a children's home for veteran's
children in your state?

Hi,
If there are children/teens in London, Ontario, who might profit from
educational services, I offer myself. I am a PhD student in philosophy,
and would love to help an older child get ahead in school.
