** Transcriber's Notes **

Columns above represent name, relation, color, gender, birth month, birth
year, age, marital status, number of children, number of living children,
birth place, father's birth place, mother's birth place, occupation, months
unemployed, can read, can write, can speak English, home or farm.

Columns omitted are years married, year of immigration, years in United
States, naturalization, months at school, home owned or rented, home owned
free or mortgaged, number of farm schedule.

Transcriber used the abbreviation N Jer for New Jersey, N for no, and Y for
yes.

Address of Orphanage: 146 Jackson Ave.
This census was taken June 15, 1900 by L. E. Barkalew, Enumerator.

2 Overwriting on middle initial; looks like B or E, might be O ...
3 Unable to read first letter of surname; might be "H" - Hedden
 4  Unable to read name. Surname seems to be approximately four letters long;
and may end with "..ld", or at least "...d" but can't say for certain.
First name seems to end with "..her"; there may be as many as six or
seven letters in this name. The assumption is being made that the
Enumerator entered last name, first, and, first name, last (for this
    person).
7-9 Surname is hard to read; looks like it starts with R but it might
begin with B. Surname might be Remwinz/Remwenz, Renewinz/Renewenz,
Benewinz/Benewenz, or something similar to any of these.
14 Might be Vaunert
20 There is some fading with the birth year and age for this person; might
    be 1894, 6, respectively.
