A FAMILY HISTORY
Last updated 22nd June 2003
INTRODUCTION
I started this project some years ago, when several more family ancestors were still alive. Unfortunately, I didn't appreciate the benefits of recording more than the basic information. I have now resumed the project and realize the opportunities that I missed by not recording more than a few names and dates.
However, that as they say, is history, which is the subject of this project.
On the plus side, I now have access to the internet and the benefits of genealogy software. Together, they make the gathering and collating of information somewhat less laborious but by no means less time consuming! At the time of writing this, I am now about two months into the resumption of the project and I'm looking forward to many years of part-time investigation and research.

NAVIGATING THESE PAGES
I have not researched any genealogical document conventions before generating these pages, so any similarity with the norm is purely coincidental!
I have compiled these pages with my daughter in mind, so it includes both the family histories of myself and my wife.
Based on the assumption that anyone viewing these pages is looking for a particular surname, I have included an alphabetically ordered list below. Ultimately, this list will contain the surnames of 32 (or more depending on research success) of my daughter's ancestors. However, only 19 are currently known but, as this is an ongoing project, these pages will be amended or added to as information becomes available.
Each of the links below, will take you to a family tree for that family name. From there you will be able to access individual information (as known) for each person in that tree. The relationship shown in the information for an individual is that to my daughter. To get an overview of how all the trees are linked together, select the "All Families Tree" link at the top of the list. This will show how all the names are linked together by marriage and is an alternative way of accessing the different family trees.
All pages have a link at the top, to enable you to return to this list (Index).
