Problem with Research

A problem arose in researching Jacques:FamilySearch records a marriage for James Orange to Racheal Campiging, giving a birth for him of 7 Sep 1725 French Chapel Artillary Lane, London. Parents John and Martha Savigmon. However, there was no reference to a christening. [Interestingly, his brother "Pierre" was born 7 Sept 1725, and chr 26 Sep 1725, The Artillery-French Huguenot, Spitalfields, London.]

Originally, I had assumed Jacques b1723 and James b1725 to be brothers..

Identifying the children of Jacques & Rachel

Researching the Christening records, parents transcribed as (a) Jacques and Rachel, (b)James and Rachel and sometimes ref to Rachel "Compigne"... So I had originally separated Jacques and James into two separate families, both with wives by the name of "Rachel"

but having James as married to Rachel Compigne

More recently, evidence from Huguenot Archives, records a marriage for Jacques and Rachel Compigne at The Artillery-French Huguenot, London...1744 24 Juin p 148 ..Mr. JACQUES ORANGE f. de Jean et de Marthe to Mme. Rachel COMPIGNE. Mar par Mr Boudillon Min. annonces. Tem. Jean Desclaux and no record of a marriage for JAMES Orange to "Rachel".. I therefore am of mind that indeed Jacques and James were one of the same person.. and have grouped all the children into one family, in the chart below.. [Jacques Orange married Rachel Compigne daughter of Jean Compigne and Jeanne Blanchard]
