COULTHARD FAMILY RESEARCH

WESTMORLAND is the farthest location I have been able to trace back, regarding my Coulthard Family. They migrated from here in the 1700's to Durham in the early 1800's. I am fortunate to have a copy of a book by the late Alfred J Coulthard, his research is an absolute treasure to hold, and I endeavour to pursue the name of Coulthard, not just for my branch of the tree, but for others researching their name from Great Britain.. I have found a death entry for "Robert Coulthard" Birth: abt 1819 Death: Sep 1882 - West Ward, Westmorland
This record probably relates to him, as he dissapears in the 1891 Census and his Sister and 2 of her children are living together at the same residence, without brother Robert, who remained umarried all his life

In 1891 Elizabeth is "Head" and described as "living on own means" of Akey Gate, Morland, Westmorland
