George WASHINGTON was born on 22 February 1730/31 in Westmoreland Co., Virginia, son of Augustine WASHINGTON and Mary BALL.1
George married Martha DANDRIDGE, daughter of Col. John DANDRIDGE and Frances JONES, on 6 January 1759 in New Kent County, Virginia.2
George WASHINGTON left a will dated on 9 July 1799 in Mt. Vernon. One of the provisions of the will was, "To my brother, Charles Washington, I give and bequeath the gold headed cane left to me by Doctr [Ben] Franklin in his will. I add nothing to it because of the ample provision I made for his issue."3
George WASHINGTON died on 14 December 1799 in Mt. Vernon, Westmoreland Co, Virginia, at age 68.
