William ABNEY was born between 1421 and 1445 in Willesley, Derbyshire, England, son of John d'ABNEY and (?) d'Ingwardbly. He was Lord ex parte of Willesley with Thomas de Stoke, allegedly his uncle. Apparently William, or his son John, gained Stoke's portion of the manor as John Abney was sole Lord of Willesley.
William ABNEY accepted a presentlment against the heirs of William Ingwardby, signifying that the estates and lands o the heirs of William Ingwardby when then in the possession of William Abney, son and heir of John Abney in 1459.1
William ABNEY died in 1471 in Willesley, Derbyshire, England.
