To the descendants of Ann McLeod MacMillan

who remained in Scotland and there nobly carried on her life's work

and to the descendants of those four brave men,

Norman, John, William and Duncan McLeod

who faced the dangers,

overcame the difficulties,

endured the hardships

and suffered the privations of pioneer life, in this our native province,
