WUTHERICH, ALBERT HUGH (NO DATE)

Albert Hugh Wutherich, 61 of Los Angeles, formerly of Onaga, died Tuesday morning, January 3, 1961, at his home.

He was born Feb. 27, 1899 at Onaga and lived there until moving to California in 1923. He was employed in the street car shops at Los Angeles many years.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Pearl Wutherich of the home; a son, Lloyd Wutherich of Los Angeles; three grandchildren; his mother, Mrs. Mary Barbara Ladner Wutherich, 1522 Western; four brothers, Leonard Lee Wutherich, 1522 Western, Orval Andrew Wutherich, 2204 Kensington Court; George Washington Wutherich of Kansas City, MO., and Peter Paul Wutherich of Inglewood, Calif.; and five sisters, Mrs. Ethel Belle (Everett) Mondt and Mrs. Mary Marcella (Roy) Stevenson, both of Inglewood, Calif., Mrs. Ida Marie (Stuart) Patterson of Independence, Mo., Mrs. Maggie Mae (Henry) Choquette, 631 Tyler, and Mrs. Barbara Ellen (Walter) Cobler, 924 N. Monroe.

Services and burial will be at Los Angeles.

WUTHERICH, MARY (NO DATE)

MARY WUTHERICH, 89, DIES IN TOPEKA--Mrs. Mary Barbara Wutherich, 89, 2015 E. 10th, died Wednesday, April 17, 1968, in a Topeka nursing home where she had lived about three years.

Mrs. Wutherich was born Oct. 5, 1878, near Wheaton, Kan. She was the daughter of George and Barbara Naf Ladner. She married Peter Wutherich, April 19, 1898, in Onaga, KS. She had lived in Topeka about 22 years. She was a member of Onaga Congregation Church.

Survivors include five daughters, Mrs. Barbara (Walter) Cobler, 924 N. Monroe, Mrs. Maggie (Henry) Choquette, 631 Tyler, Mrs. Ida (Stuart) Patterson, Independence, Mo., Mrs. Ethel (Everett) Mondt, Inglewood, Calif., and Mrs. Marcella (Roy) Stevenson, Torrance, Calif.; four sons, George W. Wutherich, Kansas City, Leonard L. Wutherich, 1522 Western, Peter Paul Wutherich, Boise, Idaho, and Orval A. Wutherich, 2204 Kensington Court; 48 grandchildren and 46 great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in Stewart Funeral Home, Wamego. Burial will be in Louisville, Kan., Cemetery.

WUTHERICH, PETER (NO DATE)

Peter Wutherich was born in Bern, Switzerland, September 15, 1856 and died at his home in Louisville, September 29, 1933 having reached the age of 77 years and 14 days. He came to America at the age of about 25 years and found employment when Kansas as a state was prosperous and the opportunities for young men were many. On April 19. 1898 he married Mary Barbara Ladner at Onaga, Kansas where they made their home for 10 years and after that live on a farm southeast of Onaga for a period of 15 years. Ten years ago the family came to Louisville where they have had their home ever since. Eleven children were born in the family, all of whom are living to honor the momory of a devoted father who after failing health for the last three years, passed away peacefully and entered into rest last Friday at noon.

The children are as follows: Mrs. Barbara Ellen (Walter) Cobler of Topeka, Kansas; Albert Hugh Wutherich of Los Angeles, Calif.; Mrs. Maggie Mae (Henry) Choquette of Blue Rapids, Kansas; Geoge and Frank of Leavenworth, Kansas; Leonard Lee of Topeka; Ida Marie Wutherich of Denver, Colorado; Mrs. Ethel Belle (Everett) Mondt, Wamego, Kansas; Mary Marcella Wutherich of Topeka; Peter Paul and Orval Andrew at the home in Louisville. The above with their mother and ten grandchildren are the survivors of the deceased.

The funeral services were held at the family residence Sunday afternoon, Rev. Gerrit Snyder of Wamego conducting the services.

Appropriate hymns were sung by a quartet composed of Mr. and Mrs. Atkinson, Gene Klingensmith and Mrs. Pederson.

Interment was made in Louisville Cemetery.
