WILSON, SARA R. (9/22/1963)

Havensville – Services for Miss Sara Wilson, 68, Havensville, former treasurer of Pottawatomie County, will be a 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Stewart Memorial Chapel at Wamego with burial in the Louisville Township Cemetery at Louisville. She died Sunday in an Onaga hospital. She had been in ill health since 1957.

The daughter of James A. and Elizabeth Wilson, she was born Juny 16, 1895, in belvue Township of Pottawatomie County. ; she attended Wamego schools and taught in the Wamego area for 13 years. She served two terms as Pottawatomie County treasurer.

She was employed later in the State Highway Department offices in Topeka until she retired in 1957.

Miss Wilson was a member of the United Presbyterian Church in Topeka.

Since her retirement, she lived with a sister, Mrs. Mayme Huffman of Havensville.

Besides Mrs. Huffman, Survivors include three sisters, Mrs. Mattie Hebert of Paradise, CA; Mrs. HattieFikes of Clever, MO; and Mrs. Bernadine Chrysler of Park Rapids, MN; and two brothers, James F. Wilson of Lyndon and William Wilson of Burlingame.
