Peter, Jane, W7981, NC Line, Soldier died March 29, 1825, Soldier's brother Benjamin KING made affidt March 7, 1840 in Jefferson Co., IL aged 74. Widow applied May 20, 1837 Smith Co., TN aged 82. Soldier lived in Guilford Co., NC at enlistment. Soldier and widow had married March 2, 1798. One Patrick Fergusson aged 64 of Smith Co., TN made aff'dt. 1837 that he knew soldier & wife in Washington Co., NC now in TN when they had moved there from Guilford Co., NC in 1784 and that they then had 4 children. Children's births only partially legible, towit: Elender b April 2, 1779, Next name torn off record b October 13, 1780, Nicholas b September 18, 1782, Mary b April 7, 1784. Anual b March 20, 1786, Sarah b April 20 1788, Hannah b February 22, 1790, Jane b July 1, 1792, Elizabeth b August 21, 1794, Rachel & Marthy twins b.
