The will of James Tarling, Corn Dealer of Clerkenwell Middlesex (Dated 1829)

This is the last Will and Testament of me James Tarling of Saint Johns Street Clerkenwell in the County of Middlesex Corn Dealer Whereby I give and bequeath all and singular the estate and effects whatsoever and wheresoever the same may be which I may happen to be possesed of or be entitled unto, unto Robert Dawson of Spencer Street Northampton Square in the County of Middlesex Esqire and William Wright Farnes of West Smithfield in the city of London Seedsman their executors administrators and assigns upon trust in the first place to pay and discharge my funeral and testamentary expenses and also my just debts and after payment thereof upon trust to divide the residue of my said estate and effects after such payments as aforesaid into three shares and proportions and pay or transfer the same unto my dear wife Ann Tarling and my dear children Henry James Tarling and Maria Ann Tarling respectively and I do hereby nominate constitute and appoint the said Robert Dawson And William Wright Farnes joint executors of this my last will and testament in witness thereof I the said James Tarling the testator have to this my last will and testament set my hand and seal this twenty eighth day of January in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and twenty nine Jas. Proved at London 13th August 1829 before the Worshipful Jesse Addams Doctor of Laws and surrogate by the oaths of Robert Dawson Esq. and William Wright Farnes the executors to whom admon. was granted having been first sworn duly to administer.
James Tarling married Maria Ann Sharpe, one of the daughters of William & Sarah Sharpe (nee Troutbeck)
