RICHARD J. VERDU, 90, Zellwood, died Tuesday, March 2. Mr. Verdu was a former investment banker. He was born in Brooklyn, New York. He was an Army veteran of World War II. EUPHEMIA "FAY" FLECKENSTEIN, 79, Westminster Towers, Orlando, died Monday, March 1. Mrs. Fleckenstein was a bookkeeper. Born in Nanty Glo, Pennsylvania, she moved to Central Florida in 1946. She was a member of St. Michael's Episcopal Church. Survivors: son, Charles "Chuck" Edgell, Apopka; daughters, Diann Gossett, Orlando, Janet McCarty, Tavares, Susan McQuillan, Deltona; stepson, Raymond Fleckenstein; stepdaughter, Joy Walsh, Summerset, N.J.
JOHNNIE M. ROWELL, 62, Apopka, died Friday, March 5. Mr. Rowell was a boiler technician for the Coca-Cola Company. Born in Island Grove, he moved to Central Florida in 1976. He attended Harvest Church of God, Ocoee. Survivors: wife, Margaret, Apopka; daughters, Kim Webb, Apopka, Denise Rowell, Apopka; sisters, Nellie Jackson, Martha Richardson, both of Ocala, Myra Smith, Fort Lauderdale; brother, Eugene Rowell, Williston; three grandchildren. CHRISTINE M. WAMPLER, 72, Apopka, died Friday, March 6. Mrs. Wampler was a homemaker. Born in Helen, West Virginia, she moved to Central Florida in 1976. Calvary Church of the Nazarene, Apopka. DANIEL G. REILLY, 77, Apopka, died Saturday, March 6. Mr. Reilly was an attorney and served in national and county positions. He was an Army veteran of World War II and a recipent of the Bronze Star. He was a member of the American Legion and the VFW. Survivors: wife, Mary Kay; sons, James, Daniel, Jr., Phillip E., Thomas; daughters, Kathleen, Karen; brothers, Dr. James B., Dr. Phillip E., Thomas; sister, Margaret Skomra; two grandchildren.
