NELL JEAN SPARKMAN, 78, Orlando, died Thursday, February 5. Mrs. Sparkman was a homemaker. Born in Tipple, West Virginia, she moved to Central Florida in 1969. Survivors: son, Robert Darrel Pendry, Apopka; daughter, Barbara Stanley, Orlando; sister, Doris Parks, Mascotte; brother, Gerald Richardson, Lenoir City, Tenn.; four grandchildren; one great-grandchild. DONALD JOSEPH SMYTH, JR., 76, Orlando, died Monday, February 2. Mr. Smyth was owner and former president of Smyth Lumber co., Orlando. He was born in Jacksonville. He was a member of the University Club of Orlando. He was past president of Florida Building Materials Association. He was a member of St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church, Winter Park. Survivors: daughter, Kathy Wahl, Ocoee; sons, Don, Ken, both of Apopka, Tom, Palm Bay; brothers, David S., Rockledge, Robert J., Orlando; sisters, Jane, Molly Hampton, both of Orlando; 10 grandchildren. EMMETT FRANKLIN DOSTER, III, 80, Zellwood, died Thursday, January 15. Mr. Doster was a superintendent of facilities for Boeing Aircraft. He was born in Greenville, South Carolina. He was a Navy veteran of World War II. JOSEPH L. FIFER, 80, Apopka, died Tuesday, February 10. Mr. Fifer was a former harness racing groom. Born in Middletown, Ohio, he moved to Central Florida in 1957. He was Protestant. WALLACE ARGIL DEPP, 81, Apopka, died Tuesday, February 10. Mr. Depp was a retired real estate broker. Born in Barren County, Kentucky, he moved to Central Florida in 1961.
