Born November 4, 1920, in Sequoyah County, Oklahoma to Parris F. and Effie (McKinney) Dooley, she married Arthur G. Robinson on November 27, 1937, in Ralston. She lived in the Pawnee area most of her life. She loved her family and music and was known to help those in need. Surviving is her husband, Arthur, of the home in Pawnee, plus 9 children: Roy Robinson of the home in Pawnee, Ray Robinson of rural Pawnee; Art (A.G.) Robinson of Edmond, Okla.; Carol Bledsoe of Ralston, Okla.; James Robinson of Glencoe, Okal.; Jackie Durrah of Tulsa, Okla.; Freddie Robinson and Ronnie Robinson, both of Orlando, Okla.; and David Robinson of Morrison, Okla. plus 22 grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren. Also surviving are 5 sisters and a brother; Hazel Kay of Billings, Okla.; Helen Langley and Billie Gray, both of Arkansas City, Kan.; Maggie Etheridge of Skiatook, Okla.; Ann Brien of Pawnee and Ralph Dooley of Ralston, Okla. plus a number of nephews, nieces and other relatives. She was a member of the Full Gospel Church. Funeral services were held at the Pawnee Assembly of God Church at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, May 30, 1995, with the Rev. James Eubanks officiating. Interment was in Pawnee's Highland Cemetery under direction of the Poteet Funeral Home of Pawnee. |
