'Uncle B', as he was known among the old timers, was a quiet, peaceful citizen, a man of strong convictions but a friend to everyone. His life had been spent upon the frontier and was one continual struggle with nature, but he wrested from it more than a competency. His life as a soldier was one of service and was in the roughest part of the country. The remaining members of the family have the heartfelt sympathy of a host of friends." |
