"I John Waggoner of Lewis County State of Virginia do hereby make this my last will and Testament.1st I desire that the land on which I know live being one hundred and seventy eight and a half acres to be equally divided between my two sons (to wit) George Waggoner and Samuel Waggoner to be injoyed by them and their heirs forever.2nd That the said George and Samuel Waggoner pay to my other children (to wit) Peter Waggoner, John Waggoner, Paul Waggoner, Jacob Waggoner, William Waggoner, Catherine Dobson late Catherine Waggoner, Susanna Sims late Susanna Waggoner, Marriah Cottrell late Marriah Waggoner and Margaret Waggoner the sum of Sixty Dollars each within the period of five years after my decease.In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and affects my seal this 12th day of October in the year 1840.
