| [fowlvill.ged] GREEN FIELDS Green Fields, 97, of Kingston passed away, April 15, in a nursing home at Camden, Ark. Born march 15, 1870 in Kansas, the son of Hiram Fields and Polly Young Fields. He was a farmer. Funeral service was held April 21, at 2:00 p.m. at the Reeves Church with Rev. Kenneth Shepherd and Rev. Eli Woods officiating. Pallbearers were: Earl Gillum, Arvil Edwards, Fred Cook, Cotton Wyatt, Tommy Johnson and Frank Chambers. Survivors include one daughter, Minnie Carroll of Huntsville, 9 grandchildren, 40 great-grandchildren and 13 great-great-grandchildren. He was a member of the Freewill Baptist Church. Burial was in the Reeves Cemetery under the direction of Brashears Funeral Home. |
