Bogart and Caroline Breazeale on 15 September 1830 in Roane County, Tennessee.19 Abraham Bogart may have been in the Nancy Bogart household on the 1840 census at Roane County, Tennessee.20 Abraham Bogart was the head of household on the 1850 census at 20th Subdivision, Roane County, Tennessee. Nancy Bogart, John Preston and Jane Jean Elizabeth Looney were listed in the household.6 Abraham Bogart was a farmer on 1 June 1850 at Roane County, Tennessee.6 Abraham Bogart and Nancy Bogart resided before 1853 at Roane County, Tennessee.10 Moved to Roane County, Tenneessee.8 As told by George Washington Bogart in the "BOGART-BALL LINEAGE":
"My great-grandfather William Bogart, was born in Virginia about 1760. Married and moved to East Tennessee about 1790. At that time the country was full of Indians. He and his wife cleared their land and built a house where they reared their family. I know of only three of their children: George, Solomon and William. George, the oldest, left Tennessee and moved to Missouri about 1830 and settled north of the Missouri River, in Clay county, I think. There is a mound called "Bogart's Mound" and a little town called Bogart that marks the place where he lived. About all we know of him is that he was a good farmer and a great hunter. I know nothing of his descendents."

COMMENT: The above recollection sets up a problem with Abraham Bogart. Is Abraham really the "William" described by G. W. Bogart? The children of Abraham (George, Solomon and William) appear to be consistent with other researchers as belonging to this line.
