     Henry Van Metre was born circa 1717 at Somerset County, New Jersey.1 He was the son of Jan Van Meteren and Margaret Mollenauer.2 Henry Van Metre married Eve (?) before 1738.1 Henry Van Metre married Hannah (?) before 5 April 1757.1 Henry Van Metre and Elizabeth Pyle obtained a marriage license on 8 April 1777.1 Henry Van Metre died circa 1793 at Virginia.1
     Henry Van Metre was also known as Henry Van Meteren.2
