     William Vaughan Jr. was born on 18 November 1760 at Hanover County, Virginia.1 He was the son of William Vaughan Sr. and Mary (?).2,3 William Vaughan Jr. married Elizabeth Fielder, daughter of John Fielder and Nancy Clark, on 7 May 1794 at Grayson County, Virginia.1 William Vaughan Jr. died on 22 March 1841 at Knobfork, Grayson County, Virginia, at age 80 years, 4 months and 4 days.1 William Vaughan Jr. was buried at Vaughan Cemetery, Spring Valley, Grayson County, Virginia.1
