Information on cemetery from Carolyn: The property for St. Mary's cemetery was purchased and recorded June 25, 1887 in the Sandusky County Court House from Heinrich Hoffman. The first burial was Hoffman's wife Barbara (Livingston) Hoffman who died April 14, 1887. The cross in the middle of the cemetery was erected in 1891. One of the early pioneers of the area, and first members of St. Mary's parish, Leodegar Lehman, was buried there in 1913.
