From this information, Levin and family had been in Collin County at least since
1847 since the birth of the third child was in Texas. The previous two children
were born in Missouri. There were several Routh, Adamson/Wilson (sons, daughters
and widow of Simon Adamson Jr. (wife was Eleanor Routh, eldest daughter of John
and Martha Redfern Routh) that lived, I believe, in Ray County, Missouri before
coming to Texas. Is it possible that Levin Routh was also with this group in
Missouri before coming to Collin County, Texas.
