The ship Ashburton, one of Messrs. Shaw, Saville, and Co.'s
line, arrived from England yesterday, after a passage of 109 days from the Downs
; she left Gravesend on the 12th of August, and nothing very noteworthy has
occurred on the passage, except meeting with a heavy gale a few days ago, in
which the ship had her bowsprit carried away. About forty first and second class
passengers have arrived by this vessel, of whom six are for Nelson.
