The history of my Skipper family in New England starts the with Sarah Skipper born. in 1639 in Lynn, Mass. Her father was Walter Skepper who was born march 21, 1559 in Boston, in England. He married to Sarah Fisher Jan. 17 1639, in Boston in Mass.
Walter Skepper died in Boston Mass. sometime between 1640 and 1650. He comes from a long line of Skeppers which leads to Richard 1493 and Adurie Etheldrada Grynne 1472 in Kirby England.

Sarah Fisher who was chr. May 11, 1617. Was also from Boston in England and died in Mass. Her father was Richard Fisher, born 1573 in Boston England, and married May 10, 1597 to Ann (Agnes) White also of Boston England who was buried Oct. 30, 1617.

Walter Skepper and Sarah Fisher had a daughter Sarah Skipper, from whom I descend.

Sarah Skipper married Walter Fairfield who was a Representative of Wenham in the General Court of Massachusetts in 1689. Walter was the son of John Fairfield, an original proprietor of Wenham Mass. Walter Fairfield and Sarah Skipper's daughter Sarah Fairfield married Thomas Abbe of Enfield.
