Waterville Cemetery - in Waterville, Oneida County, NY

Find Waterville on route 12, just 1 mile north, from the Sangerfield Center intersection.
In the middle of the town there is a large cemetery on the hill, just behind the main street
The entrance to the Cemetery is on route 315.

There is a small cemetery at Sangerfield Center, most people stop here when looking for their family members and are often disappointed because they cannot locate them there. In many cases the people they are trying to locate are actually in Waterville, sometimes called the Huddle in the old histories and maps.

Many of the Terrys families and other early settlers of the Sangerfield townships are buried in this cemetery. If you can not find your second generation in the old family farm burial grounds and your family stayed in the area, this is a good place to check. Up until the winter of 99, it had many old trees and huge evergreens though out. There was a big snow and ice storm that took it's toll on the great old trees. The first spring visit after that winter storm was very disorienting, and I am sorry to say, I don't have any photos of it's former greenery. It's very naked without them.

Images have links to 100 or 150 dpi jpgs, with very little compression. Most are abt. 640 wide or 480 high depending on orientation. They should print fine on most desktop color printers.
