DEED FROM JAMES CREED TO DARLING CREED

State of Georgia, Thomas County.  This Indenture made this the fifth day of March in the year of our Lord eighteen hundred and fifty five between James Creed of said County and State aforesaid of the one part, and Darling Creed, son of the said James Creed of the same place, of  the other part, witnesseth: that the said James Creed for and in consideration of the natural love and affection which he has and bears to his said Son Darling Creed, hath given granted and conveyed and does by these presents, for and In consideration of the sum of ten Dollars cash In hand paid before the sealing and delivery of these resents, give grant and convey unto the said Darling Creed, his heirs and assigns, the following property, to wit: one large two horse wagon, one small two horse wagon; one set Black Smith's tools, and the entire contents of the shop, one good feather bed, and all the furniture belonging thereto; all the carpenter's tools,  saws, augers etc, etc  one rifle gun; 2 three single barrel shot guns; to have an to hold said mentioned articles and any thing belonging thereto not herein enumerated of which I am now possessed of unto him the said Darling Creed, his heirs and assigns, together with all the articles belonging to the same In any particular as fully as if each article was put down In this deed of Gift, to his and their own proper use, benefit and behoof forever in fee simple.
