This is intended only as an INDEX for postings made to the ‘Boston Pilot’ during the mid to late 1800s-exclusively re- the natives of County Wexford. The townland or parish is given when noted in the original ad-the spellings (or misspellings) are as noted. The information is recorded below for your genealogical research. The original postings contain much useful information. Many tell of when immigrant left Ireland and where they were last known to be. Some offer news from back home. Contact person who placed the ad is usually a relative. A great source of pre Civil Registration data.
