I'm leaving this list of individuals here so you can see who you will see on my new tree. You can still click on any underlined name for their page here on rootsweb, but this site will no longer be updated. Ancestry is too money hungry. I'll pay volunteers before I pay them for 12 cd's that may or may not be of use to me.
Unfortunately, a while back, rootsweb partnered with ancestry and ever since, my site has been a little screwed up. I do not like ancestry and will no longer be updating this site. Ancestry is useful in a lot of respects, but I don't appreciate wasting time doing searches only to be told that I have to fork out a lot of money for information that is a part of MY family not theirs. I think that is wrong (if they were a library or a city/county office i'd feel different about this) and just proves that they are not in the business of helping people find out about genealogy, they just want to SELL SELL SELL - even if the information they sell to you might not actually end up being useful at all. That's my rant.
