Yarmouth Regional Health Centre. Born in St. Joseph, she was a daughter of the
late Simeon and Marie Madeleine (Bourque) Comeau. She was a member of LaFANE;
Canadian Diabetes Association, and a very active member of Les Femmes Acadiennes
de Clare. She was a member of several committees at St. Mary's Roman Catholic
Church, Church Point. She was well known in her community as an amateur actress,
singer, dancer and musician and also for having performed in the Acadian film by
Philbert Comeau, Les Gossipeuses. Surviving are her husband of 65 years, Andre;
sons, Maurice and wife Hazel, Hebert and wife Doris, all of Little Brook;
Delbert and wife Simone, Meteghan; daughters, Anita (Mrs. Viateur Saulnier),
