FRED E. LINDLEY

 

 

Fred E. Lindley, of San Diego, has many friends and acquaintances among his colleagues throughout the southern portion of California, and is recognized as a lawyer of splendid ability and absolute integrity. He has been active in his profession in that city for 15 years, and has built up a large practice.

Mr. Lindley is a native of Kansas, and was born in 1876. After completing his preparatory educational training in public schools he attended and graduated in 1906 from Kansas State Normal School, now Kansas Teachers College, then entered the University of Chicago and engaged in the study of law, graduating with the degree of LL. B. (Cum Laude) in 1911.

The same year Mr. Lindley was admitted to the bar in Illinois and Oregon, and in 1912 moved to San Diego and was admitted to practice in California. Although he engages in general civil practice, he specializes in banking, corporation, and probate law, of which he has made a close study for a number of years. He is Director of the Commercial & Savings Bank of San Diego, as well as of the State Bank of Ramona, of Ramona, Cal.

Mr. Lindley served as a member of the California Legislature in 1919 and 1920. He holds membership in the American Bar Association, State Bar of California and San Diego Bar Association, as well as various clubs. In 1909 he married Alma Ise, and they have four children, Laura M., Edward I., Mary L., and Ruth E.
