CONGREGATIONAL CHURCH CEMETERY,
Also known as "Old Congregational Church" Cemetery, "the Old Yellow church", and "Galilee Church". Built on former property of Benjamin L. Smith.
Tally Ho Road
Town of Mount Hope, Orange Co., New York

Note: Tally Ho Road is County Rte. 60, and runs from Co. Rte. 11 in Mt. Hope, to Co. Rte. Rte. 211, Baileyville (between Otisville and Howells) Mount Hope , NY. I photographed these graves on October 6, 2001. There are 50 - 75 graves here, all very old. This cemetery is on privately owned property and is not open to the public. More information about the cemetery is available from the Orange County Historical Society.

COLEMAN Gabriel [died May 7, 1861, age 61 yrs, 9 mo, 25 days. Source "Coulter's Clippings, provided by A.S., post at Orange Co. messsage board, Jan, 2002]

PENNY Died 19 April, 1854, David Penny, aged 72 y's., 2 m's, 18 days. Farewell my friend, my memory keep, While in the grave my body sleeps. [In some transcription/s the year of death is incorrectly listed as 1834].

Unknown Died 1851.
