Matthew (Cousins) Stephenson (Son of Mary Jane Sanderson) was born April 20, 1874 in Cumberlandshire, England²²⁴, and died March 04, 1939 in Detroit, Wayne Co, Michigan²⁵¹. He married Mary Francis Yarworth December 05, 1901 in Beechwoods Parsonage, Jefferson Co, Pennsylvania²⁰⁴, (Daughter of John Yarworth and Cordelia Lane). She was born June 27, 1878 in LuZern Co, Pennsylvania, and died November 23, 1963 in Detroit, Wayne Co, Michigan²⁴⁹.

Misc Information:    1) Matthew used both the COUSINS name and the STEPHENSON name at times in his life. When he got married he used the Cousin name, when his daughter Aldine was born he used the Stephenson name, and in the 1910 PA Census he used the Cousin name again.
                                2) Matthew was naturalized on Oct 1, 1896¹⁷.
