Gilbert Lewlyn Kirby  (Son of Gilbert Kirby and Mary Francis Lee)  was born June 04, 1882 in Wyandotte, Wayne Co, Michigan ⁸², and died April 12, 1977 in Farmington Hills, Oakland Co, Michigan ¹⁰⁶.  He married (1) Florence Alice Babcock January 16, 1913 in Port Huron, St. Clair Co, Michigan ¹⁶¹, (Daughter of John Babcock and Alice Hough).  She was born 1889 in Saginaw, and died Abt. 1940 in Detroit, Wayne Co, Michigan.  He married (2) Lillian Marie Richtert 1950.  She was born October 26, 1903, and died April 29, 1978.

Florence Alice Babcock's marriage to Gilbert Kirby was her second marriage, her first marriage was to a man with the last name of Owens.
