This abstract includes all persons living in Havana or Aurora Township who were born in Norway, or whose parent or parents were born in Norway, along with their spouses and children. The list does not include any member of a household who does not fit the above criteria. Generally this would be non-Norwegian servants, farm hands, boarders, etc. In some cases, a Norwegian servant may be listed and the rest of the household excluded. The letters L and A in the page and family numbers I have added to designate, respectively, Havana (then known as Lafayette) and Aurora townships.
