So you didn't find the Noë you are looking for on this website. I am truly sorry. I also dream sometimes of the day when I'll get this long awaited yet totally unexpected e-mail, from a long lost cousin whose great-great-grandfather disappeared... but fortunately not quite for ever and ever.
Here you may find a number of NOE genealogy websites and suggestions on how to pursue your search elsewhere. If as a result you win we want to hear about it. Please contact us. We might even tell everyone about it if you allow us to do that.
If you find a NOE website not mentioned here we want to know about it. Please contact us.
First of all here is how I suggest you proceed if you're fairly new to genealogy (or the world wide web): you visit http://www.rootsweb.com. They really are marvelous you know. They have lots of databases and plenty of suggestions for you. You can subscribe to their weekly magazine, or rather their e-zine. It's free and it keeps reminding you. (It also keeps reminding you never to give up).
You can subscribe to some of their lists. There is a California list, a Huguenot list, a NOE list etc. You might want to check out http://rsl.rootsweb.com/cgi-bin/rslsql.cgi.
You might want to send an e- mail to NOE-L-request@rootsweb.com with the
single word subscribe in the message subject and in the body. It's a
forum where you can post questions, read others questions and answers and reply
to others also searching for Noë family members.

France. He went to the Pays de Vaud (Walslant). He married in the
French Church in Mannheim, Germany. He emigrated to the U.S.A. but came back.
