When he was 23 he married Anna Catharina De Hulsters,
who was 10 years his senior. They lived in Eeklo in the
"Hondekotstraatje" (Doghouse Road).
Antonius died there on 16/12/1809 at 2 o'clock in the afternoon. His
neighbours, the 70 year old Pieter De Ruyter and the 25 year old weaver Norbert
Verhasselt came to the city hall to register his death. They thought he
was 60 years old while in fact he was only 57.
Anna Catharina brought 7 children into this world. Two
of them were still-born.

On 12/10/1813 she married in her native town with Pierre Jean Van Basselaer, the
widower of Adrienne Hendrickx who had died in
St. Laureins on 22/12/1812.
Pierre Jean was born there on 17/1/1770, the son of Jean Baptiste Van Basselaer and
Marie Françoise Bernarde Verbeke. He was "journalier - cultivateur",
a day labourer and farmer.

She was barely 21 when on 11/5/1803 she married Pierre Jacques Loete in Eeklo.
He was born in Adegem on 29/2/1776,
the son of Jean Loete and Anne Marie De Meyer, now living in the Vromboutstraat in
Eeklo. Catharina was already widowed when she died on 25/5/1843 in Eeklo, in
the institute of "charity", an old people's home for the poor.

- Josephus Joannes Noë ° Eeklo 8/6/1787
Married in Eeklo on 11/9/1809 with Angelina Symoens, born there on 28/7/1780 as the
daughter of Jean François Symoens and Livina Vandenneste. Josephus was a clog-maker
in the "Boelare" (today still one of the main roads of Eeklo).
Angela gave him 2 daughters but 2 months after the birth of their youngest, he died at
the age of 24. Angelina then remarried with Ferdinandus Benedictus Van Watermeulen
who was a shop keeper in the Boelare and "houtenschoppenmaker", which means
his specialty was making wooden shovels. Angelina died there on 18/4/1854.
