William BLAIR, 66, of 311 Center avenue, McDonald, died at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, August 29, 1946, in the Presbyterian hospital, Pittsburgh, following an illness of six weeks. A son of William C. and Anna WILKINSON BLAIR, he was born July 12, 1880 in Monongahela. He had been a resident of McDonald since he was two years old. He was employed as a welder by the Western Electric and Manufacturing Co. of Pittsburgh. He leaves his wife, Cecelia BLAIR; four daughters: Margaret, the wife of Vance SPROWLS of Gary, Ind., Florence, the wife of John LOVE of McDonald, Ruth, the wife of T. V. DOWLER of Newark, Ohio, and Mildred, the wife of Frank DE ZOMBA of Canonsburg; three grandsons and one granddaughter. Funeral services were held Monday afternoon in the Pettit Funeral home in charge of the Rev. Joseph H. RODGERS, pastor of the McDonald Presbyterian church.
