Andrew J. Crawford Andrew J. CRAWFORD, 76, of Weirton, W. Va., died Monday, August 1, 1960, in the Weirton General hospital following an illness of seven years. A son of the last William and Laura STARR CRAWFORD, he was born on April 29, 1884, in Avella. He had been a resident of Weirton for 17 years, having previously resided in Oakdale and McDonald. He was married September 26, 1904, in Steubenville, Ohio, to the former Martha REESE. He was a member of the First Methodist Church and the Brotherhood of Railroad Trainmen. He was retired having been employed for 45 years by the Pennsylvania Railroad Co. as a brakeman and conductor. Besides his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Laura BOLDT of Noblestown Road, Oakdale; a son, James A. CRAWFORD of Weirton, W.Va.; and a brother, Raymond CRAWFORD of Joffre. There are four grandchildren. Funeral services were held August 3 in Weirton, in charge of the Rev. A.R. MANSBERGER, pastor of the Weirton Methodist Church.
