Leroy Frederick BURNS died at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, July 4, 1946, in his home, 302 Third street, McDonald, following an illness of one month. A son of the late Addison F. and Lida PIKE BURNS, he was born in Pittsburgh. He had attended the McDonald schools and was a member of the First Presbyterian church, McDonald. He is survived by a sister, Mrs. Lillian HAND of McDonald; two brothers, Charles BURNS of Beaumont, Texas, and Robert BURNS of St. Louis, Mo. Two nephews, Robert Hand of McDonald and Joseph HAND of Lakewood, Ohio, also survive. Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon from the Pettit Funeral home, McDonald, in charge of the Rev.
