Robert A. McAdams, 56, a partner in McAdams Brothers Physicians' Supply Company 1t 914 Penn Avenue Downtown; died early yesterday morning (June 14) following a six-month illness at his home, 1704 Georgetown Place, Penn Hills. Mr. McAdams, a graduate of Schenley High School, was born in Pittsburgh, and, while attending the University of Pittsburgh was a member of Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity. He was a member of the Duquesne Masonic Lodge, F&AM No. 546, the Scottish Rite Body, and the Syria Temple. Mr. McAdams was also a member of the First Presbyterian Church and an elder of that congregation. Surviving are his wife, Naomi Good McAdams; one son, Douglas B.; one daughter, Kathryn L; two sisters, Alberta F. McAdams and Margaret M. Anges; one brother, Donald J.; and his father, A. P. McAdams. All reside in Pittsburgh. Friends may call at H. Sampson, Inc., 537 N. Neville St. today from 7 to 9 p.m. and tomorrow from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Services will be held Wednesday at 1 o'clock.

---------- NOTES: Robert was one of five children of A. P. McAdams (1878-1970) and Katherine Ferrill (1872-1938). The others were Alberta (1905-1986), Albert F., Margaret, and Donald. Robert's grandparents were Civil War Veteran Robert McAdams (1847-1939) and Sarah Wright (1851-1922), and his great-grandparents were another Civil War Veteran Robert McAdams (1819-1872) and Mary Ann (1814- 1894).
