On Friday, January 10, 1986, Frances Oswald Hastings of Aspinwall; wife of the late David T. Y. Hastings; mother of the late Davie W. Hastings and Richard E. Hastings; sister of Robert E. Oswald of Allentown, PA; mother-in-law of Avon Hastings and Betsy Hastings Hood; also survived by four grandchildren. The family is declining visitation. Friends and relatives are respectfully invited to a memorial service for Mr. and Mrs. Hastings at 2 p.m. Sunday afternoon Jan. 12 in the Aspinwall United Presbyterian Church. Interment private. The family respectfully suggests memorials to the church. Mrs. Hastings was a member of the church as well as a volunteer for Contact Ministry and Meals on Wheels of Aspinwall. Arrangements by H. FRANCES O. HASTINGS Frances O. Hastings, a volunteer with Aspinwall Meals on Wheels died of cancer Friday at her home on Virginia Avenue in Aspinwall. Mrs. Hastings, 78 was a member of the Aspinwall United Presbyterian Church and worked with Contact Ministry. She is survived by a brother Robert E. Oswald of Allentown, Lehigh County. Memorial services were scheduled for 2 pm today in the Aspinwally United Presbyterian Church, followed by burial in Allegheny County Memorial Park, McCandless. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to Aspinwally United Presbyterian Church, Pittsburgh 15215
