BASALYGA, NICHOLAS J
Nicholas Basalyga, 57, of Box 61, Wireton, Pa., died suddenly, Tuesday, Sept. 20, 1977, in the Salem Community Hospital, Ohio. For the past 30
years, he was owner and operator of K and N Sales Furniture Store in Wireton, served with the U.S. Marine Corps in WWII, a member of the
Hopewell VFW Post, and a member of the Beaver Lakes Country Club. Surviving are is widow, Catherine D. Basalyga; his mother, Mary Balog
Basalyga, South Heights; two sons, James M., Aliquippa, and Robert N.,  Wireton; a daughter, Mrs. Katheryn Deyton, Aliquippa; three brothers,
Russell, Sioux City, Iowa, Steve, Aliquippa, and Frank, Alberta, Canada; and three sisters, Mrs. Mary DeFeo, Mount Vernon, N.T., Mrs. Ann Shoup, South Heights, and Mrs. Helen Grillith, Coraopolis. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today in the Copeland Funeral Home, Moon Township, where services will be conducted Thursday at 11 a.m. Interment will be in Coraopolis Cemetery. John James CAMPBELL, 64, of Coraopolis, died Saturday, June 25, 1983.

A son of the late Lawrence H. and Millie WALLACE CAMPBELL, he was born July 18, 1918, in Midway. He was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars, Post 402, Coraopolis, and had resided in the area for 34 years.  He was a retired lay-out man for Minnotte Brothers Corp.,  Pittsburgh. He is survived by his wife, Dorothy CICCONE CAMPBELL; three daughters, Mrs. Marlene HANNON of Minneapolis, Minn., Mrs. Theresa MUCHLER of Mt. Lebanon, and Mrs. Linda GORRING of Coraopolis; two sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth CHAPPO of Canonsburg and Mrs. Wanda KONECKO of Slippery Rock, a brother, Garland CAMPBELL of McDonald; and eight grandchildren.  Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon in Coraopolis in charge of the Rev. John HERGERT. Burial was in Coraopolis cemetery.

DAVIE, DOROTHY (DICKEY)
Dorothy Dickey Davie, 70, of Avondale, Ariz., formerly of Wireton, died Monday, Aug. 31, 1987, in her home, following an extended illness. Born July 9, 1917, in Wireton, Pa., daughter of the late Edward A. and Ella A. Cummings Dickey, she had been a resident of Avondale for the past 10 years, and was the wife of the late Eugene A. Davie, who died in 1973. Surviving are four brothers, Edward A. Dickey, Jr., Palm Bay, Fla.; Dwight
Dickey, Knox, Pa.; Robert Dickey, Mars, Pa., and William Dickey,  Philadelphia. She was preceded in death by two brothers, James Dickey, in 1978, and Charles Dickey, in 1981. Friends will be received Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the John Syka  Funeral Home, Inc., 833 Kennedy Drive, Ambridge, where a service will be  conducted Friday at 11 a.m. by her nephew, Mr. Donald Dickey. DAVIE, JAMES HENDERSON
James H. Davie of 225 McGovern Boulevard, Wireton, died Sunday morning, July 24, 1966, in Sewickley Valley Hospital. Born in Woodlawn, Aug. 20, 1890, he attended Ohio United Presbyterian Church, Aliquippa. Mr. Davie was a retired employee of Vulcan crucible Steel Co., West Aliquippa. Surviving are his wife, Lowella Hart Davie; five sons, Harry, East Liverpool, Ohio; James, Clearview Estates, Aliquippa; Robert, Bon Meade; Eugene, Wireton, and David, Imperial; four daughters, Mrs. Joseph (Ann) Peret, Hopewell Town ship; Mrs. Nick (Catherine) Basalyga, Wireton; Mrs. Gerald (Bethea) Erwin, Clearview Estates, and Mrs. Bernard (Alberta) Davis, Davidson Heights, Aliquippa; 25 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; a brother, William, Kane Road, Aliquippa. Friends are being received in the family residence, 225 McGovern Boulevard, Wireton, where funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 27, at 1:30 p.m. with Rev. James Adair, pastor of Ohio United Presbyterian Church, officiating. Interment will be in Coraopolis Cemetery.

DAVIE, LOUWILLA CATHERINE (HART)
Louwilla Hart Davie, 91, of 1204 Connecticut Drive, Hopewell Township, died Monday, Aug. 8, 1983 in The East Liverpool Extended Care Facility, East Liverpool, Ohio.  Born April 03, 1892, in Shousetown (Crescent Township), Pa., daughter of the  late Edwin and Anna Margaret Anderson Hart, she was a member of Riverdale Presbyterian Church, Glenwillard.  She was preceded in death by her husband, James H. Davie, July 24, 1966; two sons, Eugene, in 1973, and Harry, in 1980, and two grandsons, Jack Davie, in 1971, and Tom Davie, in 1979. Surviving are three sons, James, Hopewell Township; Robert, Moon Township;  and David, Wireton; four daughters, Mrs. Donald (Catherine Basalyga) Hoover, Glenwillard, and Mrs. Joseph (Ann) Peret, Mrs. Gerald (Bea) Erwin and Mrs. Bernard (Alberta) Davis, all of Hopewell Township; 21 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandson. Friends will be received today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the James J. Darroch Funeral Home, 2640 Mill St., Aliquippa, where a service will be conducted Thursday at 1 p.m. by the Rev. Don M. Hurray, pastor of Ohio United Presbyterian Church, Hopewell Township. Interment will be in Coraopolis Cemetery, Moon Township.

HART, CATHERINE B (McGINNIS)
Mrs. Kate Hart, widow of the late George B. Hart, died suddenly March 31 at the home of her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Lester G. Miller of 322 East Meyer Avenue, New Castle. She was a member of the Central Presbyterian Church and the missionary society of that church.
Surviving are her daughter, Mrs. Miller, ten grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Besides her husband, who died in 1938, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Mrs. Louis G. Rudesill and a son, Eugene Hart. The Harts were form many years residents of Coraopolis where Mr. Hart was in the real estate business. Services were held last Thursday in the Meyers Funeral Home with the Rev. Henry B. Strock, Jr., in charge. Interment was in the Coraopolis Cemetery.
