My greatgrandparents emigrated to Pennsylvania, settled in Pittsburgh area,
Allegheny County. Grgrfather, Peter Louis Trautman, b.1842, Hesse
Darmstadt, Ger., d. 1906, Pittsburgh, grgrmother, Elizabeth Bower(?),
b. 1840, Hesse Darmstadt, Ger.,d.1923, Pittsburgh. My grfather, George
Adam Trautman, b. 10-13-1870, Pittsburgh, d. 1946, Pittsburgh, buried
in Rosedale Cemetery.

I have hit a brick wall concerning my gr.grparents. I have not been able
to get full dob, date of marriage, date of entry to country. There are
no family members left who can provide info. Family bible was lost thru
very unfortunate circumstances.

If anyone out there knows anything about my family please help me or steer
me in the right direction. I plan to visit Pittsburgh area in the next
two years to do some intense research. As of now all I have is my computer.
It is as if my family doesn't exist beyond my grandparents, who I did not
know.
