"The
first St. Mary's cemetery was located on Nunnery Hill. That is in
present day Fineview. There is still a street there called Cemetery
Street. It was short-lived and the official cemetery for St. Mary's
Ger. Catholic Church in Allegheny City was relocated to Mt. Troy Road
in Reserve Twp. It is still there and called St. Mary's Cemetery.
There are a number of early cemeteries along that road. St Mary's is
located at the intersection of Mt. Troy Rd. and Spring Garden
Ave. " -- (John Canning, johnjcanning@hot-nospam-mail.com)
