he took his letter of dismission from that church and moved to Fosterburg where
he bacame one of the first charter members of the Fosterburg church. He was
for many years superintendent of the sunday school and for about forty years
elected as one of the deacons, filling the office most faithfully during all
the years. He died on 2 Sep 1903 in Fosterburg, Madison, Illinois. Herbert
H. Keiser leaves a wife and ten children to mourn his loss, yet they sorrow not
as those who have no hope. He was married to his FIRST WIFE, WIBKA BERNS POST,
8 Feb 1853. They had five girls and one boy of which four girls are living at

Bertha, Harvel, IL; Mrs. Knecht, Mrs. Dole and two children, Kansas City, MO;
Christian Smith, Edwardsville, IL; Mr. Allen Keiser, Mrs. Morfott and daughter
Miss Emma Maxeiner, Alton, IL. He leaves two sisters and one brother Mrs Christian
Smith, (Frances Keiser), Edwardsville, IL; Mrs. Charles Willms (Minnie Keiser),
and George Keiser, Elliinwood, KS. He resided at 1846 to 1851 in Alton, Madison,
Illinois. He lived in Alton five years and worked for Mr. Wade in the meat packing
business. After that time he moved to Fosterburg, Madison, IL where he lived
until his death. He resided at 1851 to death in Fosterburg, Madison, Illinois.

Aluitmina (Minnie) KEISER was born on 30 May 1849 in Moro, Madison County,
Illinois. Minnie was the only one of her siblings to be born in America, the
rest were from Firrel, Ostfriesland, Germany. Her family left Germany in Oct.1848
to come to America arriving 1 Jan 1849. She resided at Ellinwood, Barton, KS
from 1882 to 1916. She resided at in 1916 in Milliken, Weld County, Colorado.
She died on 13 Nov 1931 in Milliken, Weld County, Colorado.
(94) Mrs. C. A. Willms died at her home southeast of Johnstown last
Friday night, after an illness of five weeks. Because of her advanced age, the
loving care of her daughters and the best medical skill were of no avail except
to keep her comfortable and free from pain. Feneral services were held in the
Baptist Church Saturday afternoon with Dr. Phillip Snider officiatiing. Mrs.
Harry Brown and Miss Evelyn Parish with Mrs. C.C. Crawford accompaning them at
the piano, and the hymns Mrs. Willms had selected; "Rock of Ages,"
and "Jesus Savior, Pilot Me." The church was filled with friends of
the deceased. Dr. and Mrs. O.E. Webb accompanied the remains to Ellinwood, where
they were laid to rest beside her husband Monday afternoon. Minnie Ellen Kaiser
was born in Moro, Madison, Illinois 30 May 1849 and passed away peacefully in
her home at Milliken, CO, Nov 13th 1931, at the age of 82 years 5 months and
14 days.She was united in marriage to Charles A. Willms at Moro,IL on May 1,
1872. To this union six children were born, three sons and three daughters all
of whom survive her; her husband preceded her to the great beyond on Sept. 3rd,
1929. The children are Mrs. O.E. Webb and Mrs. E.A. Gunning of Milliken, CO.
Daniel E. Willms, Long Beach, CA William W. Willms, Medicine Lodge, KS; Mrs.
Carrie Haas, Ellinwood, KS and Henry C. Willms, Little Rock, AR. She also leaves
seventeen grand children and ten great-grandchildren, besides other relatives
and a host of friends. She was converted and united with the Baptist church at
an early age and in all the years that followed she never lost her faith in her
Christ, and during her last illness she demonstrated the "peace that passeth
understanding." A woman of high standard, she was an ardent supporter of
things that made home a refuge, and an inspiration to her family and friends.
She stood staunch and true thru the stress and strain of pioneer life in Kansas
never failing in her adherence to the Christian ideals which constituted the
main-spring of her life, and where ever she lived conditions were made better
and life made sweeter. It may be said of her, "Her children arise up and
call her blessed; her husband also he praiseth her." so when life's sweet
journey ends Soul and body part like friends; no quarrels, no murmurs, no delay;
A kiss, a sigh, and so away. She was buried in Ellinwood, Barton, Kansas. Dr.
and Mrs. (Ester Caroline Webb) Owen E. Webb accompanied the ramains of Irma Aluitmia
Ellen (Minnie) Kaiser Willms to Ellinwood, Barton, KS to be buried with her husband,
Charles Augusta Willms. She resided at Moro/Fosterburg, Madison County, IL.
They followed her brothe,r Geroge Keiser, to Kansas where they also took up
