Scott somehow lost his footing and fell out of the pickup and was killed instantly. Scott is survived by his parents, Larry and Mardell York and his sister Debra Jo York Kropp. He was buried in Holyoke, Phillips, Colorado. He was Christian. (227) He was also known as Scott. The wedding is a big surprise to the friends of the contracting parties, as the arrangments had been kept a close secret. A few of the bride's intimate friends knew she was to be married soon, but were led to believe that the fortunate individual was to be a young man from Paxico, where Miss Webb had spent considerable time the past year or two visiting her brother. The groom is the well known manager of the Young & Co, dry goods store of this Larned, in which the bride has been clerking for sometime. Both have many friends in this city, the bride being an especially popular young lady, and both are open to congratulations for knowing a good thing when they meet it. Children were: Lottye Ethzelda YOUNG.
