Shortly after Col Nichols and Clara Bryson married they went to TN to
stay with relatives. While there twin boys (Edward & Edgar)
were born. The twins were born 2
months premature, and she described it as being in the Winter with ice,
snow, and freezing conditions outside. The midwives worked trying
to save the children by making makeshift incubators of bedding and
warmed bricks but... one of the boys died a
few hours after birth and the other lived about 24
hours. They are buried, in Cannon Co., TN and probably Bryson
Cemetery in lost, unmarked graves. Clara & Col Nichols had returned
to TX by the birth of Veta Mae, their next child. -- FACT #3 -:
Clara Nichols became a Minister in the Assembly of God
faith. She was ordained, pastored several churches, but
mostly held revivals in others churches, in individual homes, as
well as under the old "brush arbors". Burial: Evergreen
