*Daniel svd in SC militia in Rev War and
was paid for svc 10-27-1785. By 1788 he
had moved to Burke Co GA and granted
200 Acres. Res in Effingham Co in 1794.
Bought 500 and 200 acre tract from Joel
Ruis of Burke Co on the Great Ogeechee
River. County boundry changed him to
Bulloch Co. in 1795. He was Sheriff
that Co. in 1807. Boundry changed him
to Emanuel County in 1812. Widow Mar-
garet aptd Guardian of two minor chldn
Charles and Nancy, referred to as
"orphans of Daniel" 9-3-1812.
Margaret HH in 1820c. In 1827 she drew
land as Wid of Rev Sol. She d ca 1840
bur by Daniel in now abandoned burial
ground in unmarked graves (Emanuel Co
on the old Savannah road near Herndon
and East of McKinney's pond).
