Claremore,Indian Territory, Dec.15,1896- Ed REED, who one year ago killed the two Crittenden brothers, outlaws, at Wagoner,was himself shot and killed here last night while creating a disturbance.The dead man was the son of the notorious Belle STAR. (Dec.18,1896,Van Buren Press,Crawford County,AR.)
